Sena is a Licensed Marriage and family therapist who earned her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University. Previous to Sena's journey into the therapeutic world, she worked with children and teens in special education, inclusion and recreation programs. Throughout her associateship Sena has worked with adults, teens, and children in private practice and community-based settings. Sena has also worked with school related services, intensive EHRMS and residential treatments for adults and adolescents in recovery and/or with high risk behaviors.

Sena’s therapeutic approach weighs heavily on empathy, curiosity, reflection and humor. Through modalities including aspects of narrative work, psychodynamic perspectives, strength based approaches and client centered reflection, Sena makes efforts to create a healing and growing space that allows the clients to be able to bring their full selves without fear of judgment or rejection. Sena's overarching desire is to give clients the chance to experience therapy in a way that feels meaningful, and purposeful, while also honoring that self work is hard and important.

Sena’s passion for therapy revolves around the individual and personalized journey she accompanies with her clients, as together, they explore the possibility to heal old wounds, speak the yet unspoken, identify what keeps them stuck, and provide themselves with the empathy and compassion we are often seeking from others. Throughout this process, Sena and her clients work to create narratives that can empower and unfold the sometimes curious and unexpected paths to more connection with self, others and the world around us.
