Bio: ¡Hola! As a Bilingual School Psychologist, I have extensive experience assessing learning disabilities, Autism, AD/HD, and specific learning disorders, while taking into consideration the vital complexities of linguistic and cultural differences. Oftentimes, the beauty of the bilingual brain is misunderstood, requiring a deeper dive into the intricacies of cultural and linguistic differences that may be overlooked in traditional, English-only assessments. Conducting thorough, bilingual psychoeducational assessments and connecting with families and school teams to better understand the child and their needs has been a passion of mine since the beginning of my career 10 years ago. Prior to becoming a school psychologist, I was a teacher for 7 years, and have always enjoyed creating individualized recommendations for children in both classroom and home settings.

I also have experience with individual and group counseling for children ages 5-22, and have served a variety of school districts through Educationally-Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) for students who qualify for special education and related services. I use an eclectic range of therapeutic modalities and have worked with parents and families around executive functioning coaching. I am happy to be part of the TheraTree community!
